Nucleus Horizons was founded by Nucleus Independent Social Work Services, an established provider of specialist social work support across the South of England. Our centre was created to offer families a place of stability and growth somewhere new beginnings can take shape through structured
family assessment and parenting assessment support, particularly for families who may otherwise be exploring options such as foster care Southampton.
What We Do
We work with parents and children who are referred by local authorities and the courts, providing evidence-based and strengths-focused parenting assessment, including parent and child assessment and reverse parenting assessment, to evaluate parenting capacity and support positive outcomes.
Our approach is underpinned by the principles of the Children Act 1989 and the Working Together to Safeguard Children (2020) framework, ensuring every family assessment is fair, structured, and focused on safeguarding.
